This course guides EdD students through the process of developing a comprehensive dissertation overview document. Students align and refine previous milestone work (i.e., problem of practice, review of literature, and applied inquiry plan) into a draft of their dissertation overview. Students receive instructor and peer feedback on the overview draft and faculty support in gaining IRB approval, forming their dissertation committee, and practicing their overview presentation. By the end of the course, students have a well-developed proposal ready for committee review and defense.
